In recent years, the School of Business Administration has followed the development strategy of comprehensively improving the internationalization level of disciplines, and has made constant innovations in talent training, scientific research, faculty team building and school management.

In terms of the internationalization of scientific research, we have taken the following measures: 1) hiring high-quality faculty from home and abroad to carry out research cooperation with our faculty; 2) building multi-layer and differentiated platforms for scientific research exchanges, including Wenquan SBA - Yangtze River Forum, Wenquan Sharing Session, distinctive academic lectures of various departments, academic seminars for faculty of various departments, and self-organized academic exchange platforms for students (such as Birthidea, Golden Learning Club, etc.); 3) improving the research award system of the School, including establishing the journal classification system corresponding to international and domestic mainstream standards, adjusting and optimizing scientific research awards; 4) providing multi-level, one-to-one guidance for faculty to apply for national research projects.

In the past five years, the faculty of our school published 129 SCI/SSCI papers in international journals, including 2 papers in UTD-24, international top journals of business administration, 5 papers in FT-50 journals and one working paper of NBER (the National Bureau of Economic Research). The above papers are recorded by JCR Impact Factor. According to the standards issued by the University, 34 papers are published in first-class journals (top 10% journals of JCR). In 2019, several other papers have been accepted by the above-mentioned top journals and will be published soon.

In 2020, the School will further deepen various reform measures, including further revising and improving the academic journals classification system and research reward system; encouraging team cooperation; building more international academic exchange platforms; subsidizing faculty to further study in foreign famous universities, etc., so as to achieve the sustained growth of high-level research achievements.
